FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I find out more information on each item at your  restaurant & janitorial supply store?

A: Each item has more detail if you click on it. On the side of the individual display, there will be a Product Description Line which will offer information about each of our disposable restaurant and commercial cleaning products as well as how the item is sold. There will also be an option for videos on some items which will give you even more information!


Q: How long does it take for my order to ship?

A: We usually ship orders within 48 hours. You will be notified at the time of your confirmation when the ship date is.


Q: What if I have more questions on items or need help choosing what is right for me?

A: You can e-mail any questions from the item page, you can directly e-mail the manager eric@baltimorejanitorial.com or you can call during regular business hours M-F 8am-5pm EST (888) 675-6677. You will be helped immediately!


Q: How can I view the status of my order?

A: Once your order is placed, you will be sent a confirmation from the website letting you know your order has been sent. Once the Office has gotten your order, it will be processed and ammended confirmation will be sent to you from the manager. This second confirmation will contain shipping information that will let you know when you will see your items.

 


Q: What are your shipping costs?

A: Our shipping costs vary. We ship nationwide via UPS ground. We ship in the Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia area via courrier. The only fee associated with orders over $100.00 locally is a 2% fuel charge added to the subtotal. Orders totaling under $100.00 locally are assesses a $10.00 fee. Final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: What is your return policy?

A:  BJS will not accept returns on any floor equipment such as vacuums and floor machines.  If the item you wish to return is unopened/unused AND you are in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area, a return can be discussed as long as it has been less than 30 days since the ship date.  Any questions can be referred to Michele Ennis 301.336.0540.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Q: What are your business hours?

A: BJS is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm. Our answering machine is on 24 hours and we are dilligent about your messages. 


Q: What if I just want a quote and more information on items I've seen - or do not see - on the site?

A: If you would like a quote or have more questions, just select the items you are interested it for purchase. Follow thorugh with the order but when the screen asks you for a delivery address, type in the word "QUOTE". There is also a place at the end of each order for comments and special instructions - this is also a great place to put your questions and requests. Every communication from this site is reviewed carefully by the BJS manager and you will get a response immediately.


Q: How do I choose the right fragrance for my odor counteractant needs?

A: An important key to fragrancing is selecting the perfect scent for your area. Fruity scents counteract strong odors so are a great choice for restrooms. Fresh scents give the impression of cleanliness and work well in laundry and lobby areas. Floral scents are great all-purpose fragrances and work perfectly in all areas.


Q: What is the difference between cotton and blended fiber wet mops?

A: Cotton wet mop heads are economical, they absorb well and are suited for general cleaning purposes. Blended fiber wet mop heads are about five times more absorbent than cotton and hold up well to chemicals and laundering. They are more expensive but they last longer.


Q: What is the difference between cut end wet mops and looped end wet mops?

A: Mop heads with cut ends are available in a variety of styles and fiber content and are economical. Looped end mop heads avoid tangling, unraveling, fraying and are lower lining.
